Manistee River Fishing Report September 16, 2015
Manistee River Flow: 1740 CFS, temp is 65°
The 2015 salmon season is underway! This year has had its share of ups and downs, but for the most part the fishing has been pretty consistent. I have been targeting fresh fish in the lower Manistee River with a variety of crank baits. Lake Michigan turned over last week, I suspect the remainder of Salmon will be on their way into the river in the next couple of weeks. Fall Steelhead are right around the corner, and I still have dates available in October and November. This time of year can offer some of the best fishing for Steelhead and Trout, for fly fisherman and spin fisherman alike! Don’t miss out! Tight lines and God bless!
