Lower Manistee River Report – October 7th, 2019
The current water temperature is 59 degrees and current flow is 2000 cfs.
It’s fall!!! Steelhead season is off to a great start so far this month! Salmon are spawning throughout the river system and steelhead are staging in behind them in pocket water. Its all about the egg bite now. So beads, eggflies and good old fashioned spawn has been the ticket. With some wind and rain coming later this week we will have more fish entering our river system. I have a few great mid week days available this month if your looking to get out and enjoy the river and some great fishing!
