Fishing Report – March 13, 2021
Spring seems to have arrived in northern Michigan!
We have lost all our snow pack this last week. I’ve had a chance to get on the river this last few weeks with the recent warming temps. The steelhead fishing has been decent. Seems like we are getting new fish daily in smaller pods. With the recent runoff the water jumped up to 2400 CFS; the water temp is 38* and warming slowly. Fishing a combination of beads, flies, jigs and waxworms have been the program for me. Traffic has been fair so far, so during the week is when I would encourage you to go or book with me. Check the availability on my booking calendar and lets go have some fun!
