Fishing Report: Lower Big Manistee River, Labor Day 2019

Posted by on Sep 3, 2019 in Fishing Reports | No Comments

The water temperature is 65.5 degrees water is in rise at 1840 CFS – Salmon season is off to a great start!

Lots of big fish this year! Weekdays have been great on the river with fewer angling pressure. With the rain we got today and cooler nights coming I expect great fishing the next few weeks. New bright fish have been taking crankbaits in the a.m and the skein bite has turned on as well.

You have a great chance at a true giant!! 30 pounders are out there to be caught!

Lots of fun and I’m on em!!!
