Fishing Report: Big Manistee River – September 24, 2021
Fall has arrived here in Northwest Michigan!
The king salmon run is well underway and they are spread throughout the river system. It has been an up and down season for me. Somedays are better than others with the bite. The cooler weather certainly has helped, along with the recent rain.
I plan on switching gears to fall steelhead here shortly. I was able to hook a few the last few days. The steelhead should start there fall migration very soon and like always, weather is a factor. Cool weather and rain always is important!
I am completely booked in October! (Except for the Halloween). I feel so blessed for all my return customers and the new ones too!
If you are looking to fish on my boat I am booking for early November right now, so get on it while ya can!
If you are still looking to get out in October, I have a few reputable guides I may be able to send you out with so just get ahold of me!
