Water level is 1700 and water temp is 66 degrees, salmon season is well underway on the Big Manistee river!
Thankfully we received some rain this week. The river has been very low and a little warm this month. I’ve had some pretty decent fishing so far. Some days have been a lot of work with the high sun and warm temps. I’m hoping for some cooler nights to drop the water temp some more. It won’t be long until fall steelhead show up in the river system. I’m currently booking for November now and my October dates are just about filled up. We had great fishing last November so if you are interested I’d love to get you on board then!
Have a great start to fall and god bless,
