Salmon season is underway on the Big Manistee River!
I’ve been battling mother nature the last few weeks. We have had very warm weather the last few weeks that has kept the river temperature warmer than normal. Along with a lot of rain which brought the river flow up, so it has been a challenge. Fish are in the system though and the weather looks like it will be more conducive for better fishing over the next few weeks. Cooler nights will drop our water temperature and no significant rain coming to drop our water levels. Long story short, if you’re thinking about getting out – the next few weeks should be good! I have openings for kings the next few weeks for full or half day trips. Let’s get on the water soon!
